Technology utilized in aerodynamic engineering has advanced significantly since the Beechjet 400A/XP was originally designed in the early 1980's; We are utilizing state of the art engineering methods including Computational Fluid Dynamics to design the aerodynamic aspects of the engine installation.

Our analysis has indicated that several key elements of the design and installation will yield significant increases in efficiency by lowering the aerodynamic drag of the current engine installation. The aerodynamic aspects of the engine installation will be completely re-designed resulting in a new nacelle, engine inlet and tail pipe.

The pylon will be aerodynamically re-designed and the existing engine installation location will be changed to improve the aerodynamic aspects of the aircraft as well as to improve certain handling qualities of the aircraft.
