Nextant Aerospace Names Vice President of Sales and Marketing

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OHIO — December 1, 2010 – Nextant Aerospace, a pioneer in the field of aircraft remanufacturing, has announced today that Jay Heublein has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“With several key certification milestones now behind us, it is time for Nextant Aerospace to significantly expand our sales and marketing efforts,” said Jim Miller, President of Nextant Aerospace.  “Jay has a proven record of sales leadership that is vital to meet the growing demand for the Nextant 400XT product.”

In his new role, Jay will lead the national sales force and will also be responsible for executing the companies’ marketing strategies.  “Nextant is positioned to revolutionize the business jet industry by being the first to introduce a remanufacturing process to general aviation,” stated Mr. Heublein.  “With a price point below $4.0MM, the market has shown that this is the right product at the right time as proven by our current backlog.  Where the traditional OEM’s are scaling back their businesses, Nextant is making a significant investment in the future.”  To support the increased demand for the Nextant 400XT product, Mr. Heublein’s first priority will be to expand the field sales team.

Mr. Heublein joins Nextant with over 10 years of aviation sales experience. Most recently, Jay served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Flight Options, LLC.  He holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Truman State University.
