Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements.
- Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install of replacement parts and testing aircraft system.
- Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
- Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned.
- Must support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
- Present a clean and neat work area.
- Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer.
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Airframe & Powerplant License and/or a previously held Repairman Certificate.
- 1 – 3 years directly related aviation experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred).
- General working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- AI Certificate is preferred but not required.

Avionics Technician
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for performing functional tests, removing, installing and troubleshooting the avionics systems and components of our aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality avionics installations on our production aircraft.
- Ability to perform in-depth diagnostics on aircraft avionics components and systems.
- Ensure all work completed on aircraft complies with all technical publications and FAA regulations.
- Assure accuracy and completion of all work as assigned.
- Ability to read schematic and wiring diagrams.
- Present a clean and neat work area.

- Knowledge and understanding of FAA parts 91, 135 and 145 regulations.

Parts Associate
Position Summary
Nextant Aerospace is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our Procurement Department as a Parts Associate at our facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Overall, this position will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day activities associated with warehousing and distribution of aircraft parts and supplies. This position reports directly to the Parts Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining acceptable inventory of parts to support Nextant operational requirements. This will include the use and establishment of Min/Max levels.
- Maintain accounting and order system to ensure that proper approval levels are utilized.
- Perform incoming inspection of parts and materials before items are placed in stock or issued for use on aircraft.
- Provide proper security for parts inventory.
- Coordinate ordering, tracking and receiving of parts with other departments.
- Assure shipping of parts and material is within applicable regulations.
- Assure proper documentation accompanies all parts and material received and issued for use.
- Follow up with vendors regarding order status, vendor performance and resolve problems regarding quality and supply as required.
- Parts ordering, parts receiving, shipping, packaging, maintaining inventory control and integrity.
- Verify condition and documentation of aircraft parts
- Monitor time sensitive shelf life controlled items
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Parts Buyer
Position Summary
The Parts Buyer will be responsible for the day-to-day operational, problem-solving and decision- making in regards to the procurement/movement of parts. Overall, the Buyer will ensure appropriate support for the production of the airframe modification. Position works closely with Maintenance and Quality Assurance Departments and reports directly to the Procurement Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Continuous follow up to ensure supplier and delivery commitments are met
- Coordinate internal part movements when appropriate
- Maintain detailed records to include all pertinent information for each request
- Communicate updates through reports with various departments
- Identify interchangeable parts and update the part catalog to ensure accuracy
- Must be able to determine part numbers required by maintenance
- Parts ordering, receiving, shipping, packaging, maintaining inventory control and integrity
- Issue purchase orders for the procurement of aircraft parts, tooling and supplies
- Negotiates pricing with suppliers to obtain best pricing and delivery of parts required for stock and production needs
- Resolve purchasing issues with suppliers
- Expedite with suppliers to insure delivery commitments are met
- Coordinate deliveries between receiving, inspection and maintenance

Production Control Clerk
Position Summary
The Production Control Clerk is responsible for the Aircraft Assembly and/or Fabrication clerical processes. This person will issue, track, collect and enter into Pentagon task cards as they are completed along with any other data entry and or metrics processing as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical assistance to support Production Control Department
- Track from issuance to completion, task cards and associated paperwork assigned to an aircraft
- Data entry of task card information in the ERP system
- Verify entries are correct and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Scanning documents into the ERP system and associating them with the correct work orders
- Data entry into spreadsheets for metrics tracking and reporting capabilities
- Sorting and filing original documents in support of Production Control’s output to Quality Assurance

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent

Quality Inspector
Position Summary
Nextant Aerospace is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our organization as a Quality Aircraft Inspector at our facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Overall, this position is responsible for ensuring work completed on aircraft is completed within the guidelines of outlined processes and procedures. The Quality Inspector will ensure compliance and appropriate records are maintained and accurate. Position will report directly to the Director of Quality Assurance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform inspections using approved or accepted data
- Ensure adequate inspection aids, special tools and equipment are available, and maintained in a serviceable condition
- Ensure final inspections are properly performed on all work completed before it is released for Return to Service
- Conduct internal and external facility audits as required
- Oversee and maintain procedures to ensure completion of required inspections
- Ensure no defective, non-conformed or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or assembly released to service
- Ensure compliance with procedures for preliminary inspections, hidden damage inspections, inspection continuity and final inspection for items processed by the facility
Ensure all aircraft records are maintained
- Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school; 2-4 years related experience in a quality environment or combination of education and experience
- Certified Quality Inspector along with Aerospace experience is preferred but not required (Part 145, 135, 21, 65)
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 and AS9100 quality standards
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and the ability to apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- FAA Repairman (Airframe rating)

Supply Chain Manager
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for leading the normal day to day activities associated with warehousing and distribution of aircraft parts and supplies. The Supply Chain Manager will develop the overall strategy for sourcing materials and supplies for the manufacturing of the Nextant 400XT. This position reports to the V.P. of Manufacturing.

Wire Harness Fabricator
Position Summary
The Wire Harness Fabricator will be responsible for the assembly and/or modification of the wiring harness component that will be used in the production process of upgrading a fleet of corporate aircraft.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality and repetitious manor for aircraft installation.
- Perform a variety of aviation electrical and fabrication processes to include but not limited to wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination and assembly.
- Perform electrical wiring modifications to equipment removed from aircraft.
- Routes and ties wires to form wire harness (cable) used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems
- Explain assembly procedures or techniques to co-workers.
- Inspect and/test wiring installations, assemblies or circuits for resistance factors.
- Ensure work meets quality standards set by Company.
- Work and take direction from team leader for project completion.
- Confer with supervisors regarding any anticipated production problems.
- Complete all required paperwork for harness and component fabrication.

- Able to work with shielded wire and coaxial cables.
