Nextant Reserves 11 Shipsets of the Rockwell Collins Flight Deck Upgrade
RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OHIO — October 20, 2010 – Nextant Aerospace announces today they placed their 2011 order for the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 upgrade kits for the 400XT project. The Pro Line 21 upgrade delivers increased situational awareness and control and provides reduced flight deck workload, maintenance and weight.
“We placed this order, which is expected to exceed $3M in baseline and additional options, to prepare for our already committed 400XT delivery schedule in 2011. The response we have received from the market shows great interest in the 400XT aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled throughout the year to support the 2011 400XT deliveries” said James Miller, President of Nextant Aerospace.
The Nextant Aerospace 400XT significantly improves the extremely popular Hawker Beechjet 400A/XP by extending its range more than 50% to over 2,000 nautical miles (4 PAX NBAA IFR) while reducing operating costs by 30%. The 400XT is equipped with a Pro Line 21 upgrade that seamlessly manages the Williams FJ44-3AP Full Authority Digital Engine control (FADEC) and enables future NEXTGEN avionics equipage requirements.
