Nextant Aerospace names Mr. Toby Neugebauer as launch customer for 604XT featuring Pro Line Fusion® cockpit

CLEVELAND, OHIO, Thursday, September 07, 2017 – Nextant Aerospace, builders of the 400XTi, G90XT, and newly announced Challenger 604XT, today announced that Mr. Toby Neugebauer of Houston, Texas has secured the first delivery position for the new 604XT. The 604XT is a remanufactured Challenger 604 which features the Pro Line Fusion cockpit by Rockwell Collins. Nextant announced the launch of the program in late May of this year at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exposition (EBACE).

Mr. Neugebauer selected the standard configuration, which will address pending regulatory requirements including ADS-B Out requirements along with optional upgrades that include TCAS 7.1 and MultiScan Threat Track™ Weather Radar. “The Challenger 604 is the perfect aircraft for my mission requirements,” stated Mr. Neugebauer. “The plane offers an exceptional combination of cabin comfort, performance, and operating economics. Now, with the introduction of the 604XT upgrade, Nextant has solved the pending regulatory and obsolescence issues that were facing much of the original cockpit technology. This solution is perfect for my needs. By allowing me to access the latest in forward fit avionics technology, they have created a solution that offers an overwhelming value proposition which in my mind is a no brainer.”

“We are excited to formally name Mr. Neugebauer as the launch customer for the 604XT program,” stated Nextant executive, Jay Heublein. “We appreciate his confidence in Nextant and look forward to working with him for years to come.” Mr. Heublein went on to offer, “The entire program has been extremely well received and we are expecting market penetration rates north of 75% relative to the total in-service fleet, which should make this one of the most successful remanufacturing programs ever.” Nextant also confirmed that the certification program is running ahead of schedule with first flight scheduled for this month and final certification for both FAA and EASA still on track for June of 2018.
